One of the reasons we have 3 matzahs on the seder table is a symbol of the Thanksgiving offering from the Temple times which was accompanied by 3 types of matzah. The Talmud relates that one of the reasons one is required to have a meal of thanksgiving, known as the seudat hoda'ah, is for when a person is released from prison. And there was no bigger "jailbreak" in history than when 2 million Israelites broke out of their bondage with the exodus from Egypt. As such, the entire seder is designed to develop a sense of gratitude that must persevere even thousands of years later.

We indeed have so much for which to be thankful; let that be very much on our minds as we sit down to a meaningful seder experience tomorrow night!

We express our deepest gratitude to Chava Chalom for sponsoring security for the entire month of Nisan in memory of her parents Aharona bat Kochava Tziona v'Mordechai, whose yahrtzeit falls on the 24th of Nisan, and Mayer ben Esther v'Eliahu Halevi, whose Hebrew birthday is the 7th day of Passover. She will also be sponsoring Kiddush on Yizkor day, a week from this Saturday.

Sell your chametz here until 11am Friday morning.
