In the Midrash Tanchuma it describes Moses' reluctance for leadership. 3 times the Torah uses the term Vayikra, and He called, which is the first word of this week's portion. At the burning bush, when confronting Pharaoh and now, upon the completion of the Tabernacle (Mishkan). In each case Moses argued against his assuming the great mantle of leadership especially after he had already brought the Israelites out of Egypt, saw the Manna, the quail, the well and now the completion of the Tabernacle. What else could he be needed for, he argued?

So God had to call him again to explain that his role now was more important than everything else that preceded this. He had to be there to instruct the people how to use the structure and form them into the "kingdom of priests and a holy nation".
After a year of gradually restoring our operations, we sit at the threshold of full functionality, hopefully very soon. But now the real work begins with everyone returning and ready to resume life in the religious realm. Please heed this "call" to join us in whatever way you can to breathe back the vibrancy we so enjoyed here just one year ago.
